About Me

I am essentially an info junkie, with interests in emerging technologies, astronomy, space exploration, IT, and many other subjects. I consume vast amounts of content daily and I am able to go through hundreds of links on my Feedly feeds every day.

I hold a master's degree in Computer Science and Technology and work as an application developer in Ostrava, Czech Republic. My work involves both front-end and back-end tasks. My favorite IDE is Intellij Idea.  I am constantly striving to improve my knowledge and enjoy thinking about and creating new things. I also participate in various online courses.

Books: 

My reading time has decreased, but I try to read multiple books simultaneously.

Astronomy and space exploration are among my biggest hobbies, so it's no surprise that my favorite literary genre is science fiction (Dune series, Venus Prime, ...).

I also enjoy other interesting reads, such as works by Nietzsche (Zarathustra) and Ray Kurzweil (How to Create a Mind).

Free time:

I enjoy traveling, (but I am not a big fan of resting on a beach), hiking, and attending concerts and festivals.

I am mainly commuting between the Czech Republic and Argentina with my girlfriend.

My preferred music genre is metal, including death, black, grind, and power metal.

I have a passion for photography (for example taking photos of clouds), and I occasionally experiment with astrophotography using basic equipment (Nikon AW110 and Celestron 114LCM).

Drawing is another pastime of mine.

I enjoy sci-fi, IT-related films, and movies with darker atmospheres.

Favorite TV series:

Some of my favorite shows include Red Dwarf, Doctor Who, South Park, The Big Bang Theory, Mr. Robot, Family Guy, Metalocalypse, Star Gate, Star Gate Atlantis, Silicon Valley ...

Favorite food:

I appreciate beer, spicy food, and dairy products, but generally I prefer fresh food over greasy options.
